Finding Answers:
Direct your attention to the top of the page where the two white
drop-down boxes are. These two boxes are your ticket to the answers that are posted
here on URQA.com.
The first box, the white box on the left that is labeled “Answers
by Book”, allows you to search for answers according to their location in the Bible.
If you are searching for an answer to questions about the verse “Matthew 4:19”, you
would click on the white box that says “Answers by Book” and from the drop-down menu,
you would choose “Matthew”. This will take you to the main page for Matthew and another
white box will appear underneath the “Answers By Book” box. This box will say “Matthew”.
Click on this box to find “Matthew 4:19”. This will display those who have answered
questions about this verse on the bottom half of the page. Click on any one of the
authors (if there is more than one) to see their answer.
The second box, the white
box on the right that is labeled “Answers by Author”, allows you to search for answers
according to who has answered questions. If you best understand the way things are
explained by a certain person, you might use this box to find all the questions they
have answered.
Finding Articles:
URQA.com has a number of articles to aid the Bible student in the understanding of
certain in-depth or commonly addressed topics. To find these articles, direct your
attention to the menu at the very top of the page. There is a link up there that
says “Articles”. Clicking this link will bring you to the page with a list of articles.
Some of these articles may be located elsewhere on the Internet and if this is so,
you will be redirected to that location. If you have any questions about these articles,
feel free to send us an email.
Finding Definitions:
Occasionally, there will be words on URQA.com that you might not understand. For
this purpose, we have provided a glossary with definitions to words that you might
not see every day. You can access this glossary in several ways.
Your first option
is to directly access the glossary by clicking the “Glossary” link on the menu at
the top of the page. This will take you to an alphabetized list of words that you
can search through.
Your second option is to utilize the hyperlinks we have throughout
each passage of text. An example of a hyperlink is, in fact, the word “hyperlink”
in this sentence. It looks differently than the rest of the text and it is able to
be clicked on. When you click on one of these words, it will take you to the glossary
so that you can see the definition of this word.
Your third option is to simply hold
your mouse over the hyperlink. This will pop the definition up in a small box.
Finding
Verses:
Finding verses on URQA.com is much like finding definitions. When you hold
your mouse over a verse reference, the verse will pop up in a little box. This will
make it easier for you to follow along with the thought process of the authors. When
you click a verse reference, it will take you to the chapter where the verse is located.
This allows you to read the context of the verse.
